Yes i have that idea to that it is a lack on resources. I am hardly thinking about looking for the old decent betacam sp shits again, maybe the quality is a bit less, but it works and you can oversee all you do Yes i am depressed, because i want to be creative and not fighting with a program that doesnt do what i want them to do.Point! I tried a lot but nothing really works for the people in the field i got the idea.
Well, Sony got vegas, it works with many formats, but that one screws up if your documentary is longer then 40 minutes, then you search your ass of where he putted the scenes in the time line. But this problem i find in many video editing programs, it is really hard to find something decent where you can truly work with, without changing your whole equipment. Your equipment need to fulfill all kind of specifications, your codecs must fit in the resolve line, so you are forced to work with other equipment then you have. With resolve you cant really drag drop and edit, it is to complex to work fast with. I personally prefer the old fashioned sony bvs editor, there i can work way faster with, simply plug in your video tapes, push a few buttons and record and you where done. Putting a file in the edit space doesn't work. I can play it in the screen but it eats all the sources from my videocard and cant play it smoothly. It looks nice but further then adding a file to the library i dont come.
